Feral Child Candy sells retro sweets, and novelty throwback items that bring people back to childhood. The name comes from a late-night news line: “Do you know where your children are?” Those kids were out chasing a sugar rush and freedom. Feral Child Candy makes its impact by connecting those kids, now grown, with the next generation through a mix of nostalgia, personality, and flavour.

The Challenge

Danielle came in with a story people could connect with. She knew who she wanted to reach and had a product that mattered to her. Candy brands often focus on polished visuals and lighthearted themes. This one needed to feel more personal and full of character. The brand also had to support the future she was building and carry the legacy she wanted to leave behind.

The Solution

We started with market research to understand what was already out there and where Feral Child Candy could stand out. That insight gave the brand a clear visual direction. We identified colour trends in the industry, sketched early ideas, and built concepts that reflected the edge, humour, and nostalgia at the core of the brand.

The Results

The brand was built around the idea of a feral rabbit, supported by a colour palette and typography that reflected the tone of the business. The designs were applied to stickers, labels, and apparel, making it easy to recognize across different touchpoints.

The Feral Child brand gives people a reason to stop and remember what it felt like to buy candy as a kid. It makes impact by turning those small, sweet moments into something worth sharing again.
